NBG: Int. Assets Amounted to $10.3 Billion, Liabilities – $33.1 Billion
As of September 30, 2019, international assets amounted to $10.3 billion, while liabilities came to $33.1 billion, announced the National Bank of Georgia.
Georgian net international investment position (IIP) amounted to ($22.8 billion), which is a $574.4 million increase from the previous quarter, says the NBG.
A country’s IIP is a financial statement setting out the value and composition of that country’s external financial assets and liabilities. A positive IIP value indicates a nation is a creditor nation, while a negative value indicates it is a debtor nation.
